Reanne Evans - Female Snooker Player
Oh! Sorry. I'm going to talk here about the Female Snooker Player, not MALE. Reanne Evans is the best female snooker player currently with 72,600 points. Following her on this list is Ng On Yee with 71,050 points.
We mostly talk about Male Snooker Players. The question is WHY? Is that we still feel that females can't compete with us or she won't be able to reach that stage?
Not just in Snooker, we have seen the same thing in other sports field as well. Women's players should also be given the same respect and honor. We are always busy in talking about Ronnie O'Sullivan or Mark Selby.
There is no information provided regarding her on The World Snooker Website. Just news! WOW!!
Some things to be noted:
- Born in Dudley, West Midlands on 25th October 1985.
- Have multiple titles.
Starting off her career in a 2010-11 season in which she failed miserably and was unable to retain her place. Moving on to May 2013, not winning any matches in her last season and getting back with the bang. Reanne qualified for 2013 Wuxi Classic.
Reanne Evans became the first women to reach the final stage of a ranking snooker tournament. She played against local opponents in a wildcard round and lost to Zhu Yinghui.
Her Tour Of Success:
Losing 18 consecutive matches in her 2010-11 season. It's not an easy task to win 61 consecutive matches but Reanne Evans did it & defeated prevailing world champion John Higgins at the 2009 Six-red World Championship scoring 4-3.
Not writing about all her matches.
Reanne started playing at a very young age of 13, inspired by her elder brothers. In a relationship with Snooker Player Mark Allen ( Current Winner Of Dafabet Masters 2018), she became pregnant.
They ended up their relationship in 2008 and relationship started in 2005.
Salute to this lady, being seven and a half months pregnant and winning the 2006 women world championship.
Reanne Evans has a lovely daughter namely, Lauren.
